LUISA RIVERA was born in 1987 in Santiago, Chile. She attended Universidad Católica de Chile, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011. In 2012 she obtained a Fulbright scholarship to pursue her Master of Fine Arts specialized in Illustration at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), where she is currently a graduate student.
Since 2011, Luisa has published three illustrated books (Subterra, Breviario Mínimo y Trenzas), and has worked with several clients (Transparency International UK, Deloitte, La Peste, Almagro, UVA MAG, Seña, among others). Also, her work as been showcased and selected by different publications, such as Creative Quarterly 34 (USA) and Diccionario de Ilustradores Iberoamericanos (Spain).
In the year 2013 she obtained a FONDART (Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Cultural y las Artes), which currently is the main and most important source of funding for artists in Chile.
Nick Gentry is a British artist from London. Much of his artistic output has been generated with the use of contributed artefacts and materials. He states that through this process “contributor, artist and viewer come closer together”. His art is influenced by the development of consumerism, technology, identity and cyberculture in society, with a distinctive focus on obsolete media.
